Wild Shaale

Fostering Empathy in Children living close to Wildlife Reserves in India.

The Wild Shaale program is being implemented around multiple wildlife reserves in India. The program has been implemented in more than 1000 schools, reaching > 50,000 children.

Growing up in high-stress environments in areas that experience high levels of human wildlife conflict can be challenging for children in their formative years.

At the Centre for Wildlife studies, our program was created to nurture children’s natural curiosity and empathy for the environment.

Wild Shaale brings an innovative and impactful approach to raising environmental awareness among 9-12 year old school-going children. Our program fosters ecological understanding, compassion for nature, and ethical decision-making. Wild Shaale Digital is an exciting online journey into the wonders of nature, designed especially for young explorers! Through fun videos, interactive online activities, and engaging projects, kids will learn about animals, plants, ecosystems, and the environment right from home. This adventure though online sparks curiosity, inspires action, and empowers children to become champions for the planet. With expert guidance from wildlife educators, kids will discover the secrets of biodiversity and the importance of conservation.
